Quantum Network Bridge

Use two of these to form a Quantum Bridge with quantum entangled singularities to transfer AE2 channels to a different location, over long distances and across dimensions. In combination with P2P, this can give access to your ME system and hundreds, if not thousands of channels.

Getting Started

Storage

It is highly recommended to make use of the Sophisticated Storage Mod. It has both Chests and Backpacks. Both can be upgraded not only by crafting higher tiers which hold more items, but also by adding upgrades to allow for higher item stacks, auto-smelting, a magnet to auto-pickup mined blocks and loot, and much more!

Flight

If you are into early-game tech, use jetpacks from Iron Jetpacks. While their vertical flight is slow, forward flight is extremely fast once you upgrade to higher tiers.

If you are into magic first, consider using a Charm of Flight, these provide easy limited flight that you can toggle on and off.

/Back

The /back command takes you back to your previous location, running it again will take you further back to older locations, it will not make you jump between your current and last location. The history goes back up to 10 locations. If you do want to jump between your base and a location you found, you must always run /home before running /back again.

Power Production

Thermo Generators from Powah are a great way to start generating power. They are easy to set up, require no fuel and can be upgraded to produce more power. They are also very efficient and can be used to power your base for a long time. They produce power when a heat source is placed under them, and water is pumped into the generator (from a Sink).

Progression Boosts

Loot from Loot Crates and Loot Chests found across all dimensions greatly help you collect base resources as well as unique items. Loot chests are instanced, when you clear out the loot, other players can get their own loot from the same chest. It is therefore advised not to remove these chests forcibly, leave them for other players. Loot value and rarity increases with higher risk. Overworld village loot will be mundane, while loot in Nether fortresses and bastions, cities in the End and loot from more advanced dimensions such as The Other, will contain lucrative loot.

Capturing Things

Using a Cardboard Box from Mekanism is an ideal method to move vanilla spawners and other blocks you want to keep intact.

To capture a mob, you can use a Mob Yoinker, a Mob Imprisonment Tool from or a Soul Vial EnderIO, among other methods.
