Dimension Resets
Dimension resets (complete wipe and regeneration) allow players to explore untouched regions and gather rare resources and loot without the risk of them being depleted or gone.
Dimension resets take place on the first day of the month, every month. Homes on dimensions that have been reset, may stop working, you will have to create new ones or override the existing ones.
Does not reset:
- Spawn
- Overworld
- The Beyond (allthemodium)
Resets every month:
- All other dimensions
You should not build permanent bases or leave behind anything before dimensions reset. Once the reset takes place, anything you left there is permanently gone, you can no longer retrieve it, and cannot submit a request for item reimbursement.
The following dimensions are pregenerated with specific dimension map sizes:
- Overworld
20000 x 20000

Claiming & Chunk Loading
This section covers all there is to know about claiming your base to protect your items and creations, and how you can (force)chunkload chunks. Please read this section carefully!
GriefDefender
is used to claim areas to protect them
Claiming
GriefDefender is the only way to protect land!
Do not rely on FTB Chunks to protect your land, FTB Chunks Claim protection is disabled! To enable claim-mode and start claiming, use either:
- the command /claim
- or by wielding a Golden Shovel.
Then, rightclick two blocks that are opposing corners in a rectangle. The claimed area will be highlighted with gold blocks marking the corners of the rectangle. Claims are 2-dimensional, the entire Y-height from top to bottom is protected.
Limitations
The number of blocks you can claim, depend on your
Accrued Claim Block
andBonus Claim Block
balance.Accrued blocks are blocks you obtain over time by playing. You earn 120 of them for every hour played on our server.
Bonus blocks are given to you when you purchase them from our store, when you purchase a rank or when you are rewarded claim blocks from Discord activity, Voting rewards or Server Events.

FTB Chunks
is used to load chunks
Chunkloading
FTB CHUNKS CANNOT BE USED TO PROTECT LAND Inside of FTB Chunks, The word "claim" refers to reserving a chunk so you can then force-load it, it is not suitable for land protection.Using the FTB Chunks: Claim Manager you can mark chunks to force-load them, you must first "claim" chunks before you can "force-load" them:
LEFT-click
to claim a chunk for loadingRIGHT-click
to unclaim a chunk for loadingSHIFT-LEFT-click
a claimed chunk to force-load itSHIFT-RIGHT-click
to unload a claimed chunk
- /ftbchunks claim claim a chunk for loading
- /ftbchunks unclaim unclaim a chunk for loading
- /ftbchunks unclaim_all unclaim all chunks for loading
- /ftbchunks load load a claimed chunk
- /ftbchunks unload unload a claimed chunk
- /ftbchunks unload_all unload all claimed chunks
Good to Know
Force-loaded chunks stay loaded even if you are not near them, but only if you are online. It is not possible to have offline chunkloading.
Claims currently do not expire, no matter how long you or your party members are offline.
FTB Party claim limits & force-load limits are summed up, meaning that if you are in a party of 4 players, all your individual limits are combined and made available to the entire party.
