On our PvP server, we would like to allow our players to play fair when competing against one another, for this we ask everyone to follow the rules below. We punish players for breaking these rules.
Mild trolling, lies, deception, social engineering and other forms of trickery are generally allowed and common in a competitive PvP setting such as ours. No one can be trusted, not even your friends. You are ultimately responsible for your own safety and security. This modpack includes highly complex mods and mod interactions, many of which may seem overpowered or even impossible. Do not underestimate the capabilities of the tech and magic mods in this modpack, or some of your opponents.
Our rules are be updated as needed, and without prior notice, to reflect the evolving landscape of our Devil's Modded PVP server and will try to maintain the spirit of creative play while maintaining a fair and level playing field.
We ask all players to always submit a ticket on our support platform with a descriptive explanation of any item, block, command, interaction or an output, result or consequence thereof, that to a reasonable person may seem as suspicious, questionable, overpowered, unbalanced, unintended, rule-breaking or or an exploitative nature.
Exploits may for example include a dupe glitch, a coordinate leak of entity or player whereabouts, a method that induces a server or client crash, or access to privileged information, tools or commands. The above-listed exploits are not exhaustive, and while we encourage our players to make use of tools in creative ways, it should be approached with fairness in mind. Any discovered mechanics, bugs or interactions which could, to a reasonable person, be deemed to provide an unfair advantage to one player should not be used, and instead reported via our support platform.
Failure to report, when discovered, told or shown, a mechanic, bug, or interaction that could, to a reasonable person, be deemed as unfair or exploitative in nature, will result in punishment, regardless of whether the mechanic, bug, or interaction was used by the player in question.
HaxysHideout server management staff is the sole authority to evaluate potential exploits and perform judgement over them. While we welcome reasonable discourse and appeals strictly via our support platform, our final descision is ultimately indeed final.
We disallow all (not just the ones on the disallowed list below) client modifications or additions to your client if you choose to play on our server, except for the ones mentioned in the allowed list below. If you are interested in adding mods to your client that are not currently listed as allowed on this page, please submit a ticket on our support platform with a link to the source, prior to joining our server with these modifications.
The reason for this is that modifications made to your client may introduce or enable features that break our server rules and/or fall under the definition of an exploit.
We warn players not to add mods that are not listed on the allowed list below, and will deny access to our server if players refuse to remove or undo the modification(s). Any attempt of using xray mods or resource packs, cheats or hacking clients on our server is met with an immediate ban.
The lists below are not exhaustive, and can be updated at any time without notice.
All offenses are met with an indefinite ban as the default punishment. This is a ban with no expiration date, and it may be accompanied with an IP ban on this server, or even a network-wide ban depending on the offense.
Players with a history of past offenses, and have previously broken community and/or server rules on any of the services, platforms or servers provided by HaxysHideout, fall under more scrutiny and will be punished in a harsher manner.
Punishments can be appealed via our our support platform. If an appeal is successful, we may reduce a punishment in duration or severity, or revoke the punishment alltogether. An indefinite ban in such cases is converted into a temporary ban with a specific expiration date, after which a player is allowed to play on our server again.
Appeals are not guaranteed to be successful, and we may choose to uphold a punishment in its entirety. To increase your chances of a successful appeal, please be honest and sincere in your appeal, and do not attempt to deceive us. If you believe you are innocent or that the situation was misunderstood by us, please explain your side of the story in detail, and provide any evidence you may have to support your claim.
